The Riverfront Jazz Festival is scheduled for Sept. 3-4 at Pfiffner Pioneer Park, 1100 Crosby Ave., and is free and open to the public. Performances will take place from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day.

The Riverfront Jazz Festival, which debuted Labor Day weekend in 2004, was started to promote local jazz musicians, nationally-renowned acts, tourism and a family-friendly atmosphere.
