This series of workshops, hosted by Focus Development Organization, aims to empower women through technical training in designing, cutting, and sewing. Creating a supportive community where women can come together for discussions and mental therapy, they also provide business knowledge to help participants achieve self-sufficiency and economic independence. Sewing and embroidery machines, accessories, and fabric for learning are all provided, as well as snacks and transportation for equal access. The program’s ultimate goal is to contribute to the personal growth, financial stability, and overall well-being of women.

The workshops meet 10am-12pm in the Idea Center’s Collaborate Room on the following dates:

  • Feb 5th  Intro Class

  • Feb 7-8 Week 1 

  • Feb 12. Week 2 

  • Feb 19-20. Week 3 

  • Feb 26-28 Week 4 

  • March 4-5 Week 5 

  • March 8 Week 6 (Celebration of Women Day) 

  • March 13 -14 Week 7 

  • March 15 (Last Day Pot Luck Celebration)
