Dinner In My Kitchen is a partnership between CREATE Portage County and Central Rivers Farmshed, that features our friends and neighbors sharing the food that they grew up eating. Culturally authentic, locally sourced, and lovingly prepared, this dinner will feature food from Guolong Liang's native China.

Guolong is a food enthusiast born and raised in Ningxia, China. New to Stevens Point, he is looking forward to contributing to the local food system with the community.

Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, located in Northwest China, spreads to the middle and lower levels on the Yellow River. Home to ethnically Han and Hui people, the Ningxia cuisine features signature Halal food and noodle dishes, highlighted by complex blends of spices.

Join us on December 11th, 2023 at The Local Goat Company in Amherst. Seating begins at 5:15 pm, bar service will be provided by The Local Goat. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm.
