Charlie Baran has lived a life of music. Before moving to the United States he was a founding member of the legendary Honduran musical group Banda Blanca, whose song became the #1 Billboard Top Latin Songs hit in 1992. Charlie Baran is a true master- guitar slinging showman and gifted songwriter whose skill transcends all genres. Radio Free Honduras is a diverse collective of Chicago musicians who all have one goal- supporting the artistry of Charlie Baran and brining this tremendous talent into the spotlight when it belongs.

Radio Free Honduras is part of our seventh series of Levitt AMP Stevens Point. The Levitt AMP Stevens Point Music Series is a CREATE Experience supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a private foundation that empowers towns and cities across America to transform underused public spaces into thriving destinations through the power of free, live music. Levitt is also supported by local sponsors: the City of Stevens Point, NRG Media, Cobblestone Hotel Stevens Point, Festival Foods, Prevail Bank, and Simplicity Credit Union.

This week we welcome our friends from United Way of Portage County for their Annual Campaign Kickoff event!
