For the 20th year, paddlers will head out into the flowage in Stevens Point and explore the winding waterways for PaddleQuest. Paddlers will seek out characters, tokens, treasures, and magic items to play games, take part in the story, and compete for the title of Protector of The Backwaters. PQ 2021 Next Level will start and finish at Bukolt Park.

PaddleQuest is partnering with North Central Conservancy Trust to offer a camping village to Questers! As a communal campsite, this will not be akin to the average campground experience. A portion of the proceeds from camping registrations will be delivered to the North Central Conservancy Trust, who currently stewards that land. Please respect all camping rules over the weekend! Day 2 activities will launch with a pancake breakfast at Bukolt Park before the Guild Games get underway.

Participants will be given wrist bands to help event organizers keep tabs on dry-land activities, which will include food & beverage trucks, a backwoods dance party, camping, guild games, the pancake breakfast and more. Limited quantities of extra wristbands are available for friends and family, who will be providing support to teams and wish to participate in these additional activities! Wristbands will come with a PaddleQuest map highlighting high-visibility areas for spectators. Questers and spectators should bring cash for all food and beverage purchases, including the pancake breakfast.

***This event is held on the open water. Individuals that cannot swim or do not have the required skills should not participate. Participants must wear approved flotation devices at all times during the event on the water. Participants must have all necessary gear as determined by Wisconsin law. PaddleQuest volunteers do not distribute alcoholic beverages. Participants 21 years or older may consume alcoholic beverages but do so at their own risk. Drink responsibly and save the party for the shore when the race is over.***
