CREATE Portage County, in partnership with almost 30 downtown businesses and organizations, will host the 13th Annual ArtsWalk celebration on Friday, May 17 from 5 PM to 8 PM in Downtown Stevens Point.
This free event brings together more than 50 local visual artists to display and sell their work in downtown storefronts, galleries, and restaurants. The event will also feature live dance and music performances along Main Street and nearby locations, including a performance by Monarch Aerial Arts dancers on the Square.
The event will close with the Mass Guitar Incident, a tradition that enables local strummers to play music together in the Mathias Mitchell Public Square.
Strummers of all abilities are welcome!
